War Sand

[CONTENT WARNING: Swearing, Violence]
War Sand is a survival first-person shooter where you are placed in the middle of a warzone in Tibet, a place that is unrecognizable from decades of war. You take control of a martron, face to face with the future of warfare. You've been here for years, and no-one seems to be coming for your aid. Survive, and you just might see the light of hope.
You find data logs scattered around, remnants of the black box of someone who was here before you. He explains that he was protecting a generator, his only source of power, and that the machines took the core. His death probably was caused by his failed attempt at retrieving the core. Maybe you can do better.

TRANSCRIPTIONS:
LOG 1
"September 19th, 2133. It's the 20th anniversary of the war. Nobody remembers how it started, or what they're fighting for. Still no word from home. Are they still listening? Do they even care? Maybe they abandoned us. Or maybe... God I hope not. I'm all alone now. The rest of my crew is... gone. The silence is worse than the gunshots, somehow. So I'm doing these for my own sanity. It's something to do. But... If someone's listening to this, somehow, let me tell you: It's a real shitshow over here."
LOG 2
"This generator was all I had. Antenna's damaged. Plus those power-hungry machines took the core with em'. My last attempt at breaking the line would probably be to bring that core back, even if it costs my life. I'll die here without power anyway. They went North, somewhere around the remains of a temple. You can see it from here, actually."
LOG 3
"I've come to realize that... any words could be my last. So I never know what to say. I ran out of food three days ago. Last thing I ate was a... some kinda lizard. Tasted awful. You might not even find these in a black box. Maybe those fuckers will tear it to shreads like they did with Sean's. In which case, you might find these scattered around in the sand."
LOG 4
"Machines from hell. That's what those are. When the cost of life is zero, what do you lose from starting wars really? But someone always pays the price. And it's never the ones who owe it. They tell you to face the machines. Act like them. But when you're face-to-face with them... I never thought I'd say this, but I want bots to put me out of a job."
LOG 5
"Alright. I crossed the line. I'm in enemy territory now. I'm staring at the gates of the temple. There's... Something there. Wait, what the fu-"

am i supposed to have the same opening mountain shot after starting the game for awhile
I'm not sure what you mean. The game doesn't autosave if that's what you're asking
nvm it fixed its self
Like the voice acting. Seeing the machines roaming in the distance, knowing that trouble is ahead - creates a nice tense atmosphere.
Thanks ^^ glad you liked it!
